UHI combines the beauty of standard acrylic sheet with additional toughness impact modifiers which is added during the production process. UHI is considered tougher than glass and highly suited to vacuum forming. UHI is more than 50% tougher than standard acrylic sheet. Especially desirable for high-volume production programmes where cost effectiveness is key.

U.H.I exhibits the same excellent properties as standard cast acrylic, however mechanical strength is considerably increased. Impact resistant cast acrylic sheet is extremely suitable where there is increased risk of breakage or cracking during a production phase, for example, during intensive or difficult processes for outdoor signs and roof domes. Where vandalism has to be taken into account cast impact resistant acrylic withstands stones and other thrown objects far better.

  • Excellent impact strength
  • Lightweight and durable
  • Excellent embossing and forming characteristics

X-Board Kraft is a highly versatile, lightweight kraft composite board which offers designers and manufacturers an eco-alternative to MDF, particle board and non-renewable, polymer-based sheeting, typically used for short-term displays and structures.

X-Board's crush-resistant corrugated kraft core is manufactured from post-consumer kraft and bagasse waste. The core material is sandwiched between laminated top and bottom layers of 350gsm kraft liner, creating a high strength-to-weight ratio, fully repulpable display board, which can be disposed of in industrial paper recycling bins.

For production runs, X-Board Kraft is best cut using a CNC router fitted with both oscillating knife and bevel-cut drag knife. For simple straight-cutting of low volume sheeting, (e.g. hobby, DIY or set-building use) a heavy-duty Stanley-type knife, panel saw, jigsaw or vertical foam trimming machine may be used
