Maizey Abroad
October saw members of our team travel to Germany to attend the K Fair, an important international event for our industry. It was a valuable opportunity to reconnect with suppliers, engage in meaningful discussions on how we can better serve our market, and continue strengthening key relationships.
The trip also included visits to long-term partners such as Röchling. We extend our appreciation to them for their warm welcome and the time they dedicated to hosting us.
As our final international trip for the year, we return confident that we have represented Maizey with commitment and purpose. From long flights to late negotiations, the goal has remained the same: to support our people, our market, and our customers by bringing home the best solutions possible.
We express our thanks to everyone who made this trip possible, to our suppliers for their ongoing partnership, and to our community for the continued trust placed in Maizey.
A Farewell and a New Beginning
October marked a major milestone for Maizey as we officially completed our move from our long-standing distribution center at Dekema Road, Wadeville, to our new facility at 10 Jansen Road, Jet Park.
Leaving Dekema Road was bittersweet. That building carried 18 years of memories and played a significant role in helping Maizey deliver strong service to the market. It had its quirks and challenges, but much like a well-loved old car, those imperfections became part of its character. We are grateful for the role it played in our journey.
As we settle into our new home, we look forward to building on that legacy. The new facility positions us to create fresh memories and strengthen our culture, all while driving improved efficiencies, enhanced service quality, and more reliable delivery performance for our community.
We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who made this move possible and to all who have been affected by the transition. Your support and patience have been truly appreciated.
Looking ahead, keep an eye on 2026 as we continue to evolve into a stronger, more aligned, and even more capable Maizey Logistics.
